Quitting smoking is the single most important thing you can do to improve your health. If you smoke, you increase your chance of getting many diseases, such as lung cancer, heart disease, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including emphysema.

Now the good news! Every day that you are not smoking your health is improving. Your circulation gets better, your lungs are clearing, your heart doesn’t have to work so hard, and your blood pressure goes down, just to mention a few.

The materials provided here can help you begin the steps to quitting smoking for good. If you’ve tried to quit before and it didn’t work, the most important thing is to keep on quitting until you quit for good!
